Return to link exchanges?

After turning my links page into a monstrosity through ignorance I gave up on all reciprocal linking more than a year ago. It has done me no harm. In fact, my SERPs have consistently improved.

Over time I got rid of all the low-quality links in my site but now I'm getting some interesting exchange offers, including 3-ways. I want to take a fresh look at the issue.

Are reciprocal exchanges with decent and RELEVANT websites of any value now?

And how close is relevant? For instance, I have a site on natural blood pressure control. Is anything in the natural health category (herbal remedies, hair-loss treatments, etc.) considered relevant?

Or should I stick with "strictly" relevant issues like blood pressure, stress management and heart disease?

Finally, how about 3-way exchanges? Recommended?

Unless I can see some obvious benefits I think I'll stick with my no-linking policy. Better safe than sorry!

Interesting you bring this up. I have recently received emails with requests to exchange links. I never answer them because they are to my sites that are making autopilot money and I never bother doing anything with those sites but collect my money. I don't want to add others links for fear of their taking my traffic away.(Not sure if they will or won't) I figure if it's working and it is... I am good without exchanging links.

I've been getting link requests too but they seem to be coming from a service so I've been ignoring them too.
