I am very confused ..
I know how to promote a website and everything
But I do not understand how to promote products within the site
Can anyone give me an example of choosing a product, and about what should I build the site to promote the product?

      Actually, you should give a better explanation and an example of what you're really asking for. Unless the question is "where can I find affiliate products" or "how to build an affiliate site" in which case I'd suggest Google search.

          It all really depends on what type of product you want to promote. Let's take an amazon product for example, more specifically I will use dishwashers as an example.

          What I would first do is research for low competition keywords that are about dishwashers, create content around those keywords, and then add links and banners that link back to the product on amazon.

          For example let's say you liked the keyword "top 10 dishwashers". What you would then do is create an article about the top 10 dishwashers and list them out one by one. Each picture of the dishwasher would then link back to amazon and you get the commission from any sales generated.
