Squeeze Pages that Rank High...

Hi Guys

There are lots of apparent 'sales/squeeze' pages that only look like one page and seem to rank. Are these generally making the most of darker sides of SEO or are there any pointers someone can provide?

I'm familiar with say H1, title tages, good url, appropriate keywords (LSI stuff), back links and use of good anchor text but they there's something definately lacking here to rank that squeeze page high...

Any tips or pointers?

    I don't think those are darker sides of SEO, however, if there is MORE UNIQUE content with good ONSITE SEO setup, google will love it and with some more backlinks that page can reach top.... I have done similar and still over there on top # 10.......That will workout....

    Well... squeeze pages that rank high are probably going to have a high bounce rate because of all the people looking for informational purposes. It would be alot more effective to have good content and then just drop in an optin box at the end of each article.

    You could automate this with Wordpress by including your optin box (div) within the loop, and WP will drop it in on every page.

    If you have no real value to give people, they aren't going to optin anyways, so why not provide value via the content of your site... and then just drop in an optin box at the end of your articles? The leads that do optin will be great quality.

    It is probably because they have a ton of backlinks pointing to them.

    Check how many backlinks there are.
