Hi everyone! Im kinda new at this as far as SEO goes. I registered with google but for some reason they have not crawled my site... I was just wondering if it takes forever to get your site crawled or if I have done something wrong like my meta or my titles... I want to get Knoxville bands signed but without the proper SEO techniques I don't think that it will be possible...

have a look at google webmaster and submit your sitemap. Also a good idea to do that for Bing as well. If you've done that then your site should get crawled pretty quick.

    Its all about adding content.

I post and 30 minutes it is on google.

The more you post quality content the faster your site gets more digital real estate.

SOme good info in this post, thanks! And My sites generally get crawled within 24 hours of me updating them. Not ideal I know, but with more frequent updates I hope it'll get better.

great. Another great way to get indexed quickly is to ping, submit an rss feed to a few top directories and bookmark at a few places. This should have post pages indexed within 24 hours.

If you are looking for a nice easy way to ping pages, check out this blog post:

I am kind of confused and very upset now...

It seems like being "crawled" is not the same as "indexed"....

I Have review my stats a lot, and had created my sitemap and submitted to google worked very good. Googlebot already visited my site, and I am wondering if that means to be crawl? or that just means just visited?

Even of the meaining my girlfriend site is not indexed....I just see listed the digg I did when I search site:My Girlfriend Back Plan | Get your ex girlfriend back effectively

      Any comments?
