Does social bookmarking affect your position initially for few days!!

Hi,
I am a new member, and seeing replies to problems, it encouraged me mention mine as well. I have recently started off page on my blog after 8 months of posting regularly on it. I found out couple of days back that on positions i was ranked high were all gone and pushed back to page 2 or 3. I went crazy after that. Social bookmarking is the only activity i have started weeks back and nothing else.
My blog name is Ticketvala.in, please help.
One more thing to highlight, on sites where i bookmarked my page on keywords are starting showing on the position my blog was coming. Is that something to watch for in future.:confused:
