Private Blog Network Question

Hi ladies and gents, hope you're all good. I have a quick question for buying high pagerank expired domains. I found 3 high pagerank domains, one PR5 and 2 PR4 domains. I'm eager to buy them but they have strong backlinks from government and educational sites. And they're not in my niche (they're government and health related sites).

So when I buy them I'm going to change the content of the sites so it relates to my niche. I could go to archive.org and get their old content but from what I've learned about building a PBN is that I have to add original content that's related to my niche.

I just want to know what's the risk of doing that (changing the content)???

Why not just leave the old content but bury it where its not necessarily visible to users but is still present on site.

Really depends on what the content is relative too,

As we all know that content marketing is the best option to increase our website organic traffic. If you want to check your website content than you need to check that your old content value because if your old content have good value then don't remove them just start writing more topics.

Thnx guys, but the domain wont come with the content I'll have to add it from scratch. I'm not buying a website just the domain name. The domains are just for backlinking purposes it doesn't matter if the domains I buy get organic traffic or not.

The main aim is to keep them strong (as a backlink to my money sites) as long as possible. In that case, is it safe to change the content?

Hope it makes sense, coz I can't express this in words hehe

      The best way is:
      1) Set up content related to the websites niche (if it's not your niche already)
      2) Wait some time 2-13 weeks and let google index the pages again, don't link out to you money sites yet.
      3) Set up content related to your niche with few articles (don't link to your money site) and let them index by google
      4) After 4-5 weeks start linking to your money site, 1 to max 5 links with diverse anchors and long tail keywords
      5) wait...
      6) Add quality articles 1-2 times a week
      7) wait...

Treat your PBN sites like diamonds if you want to keep them long and have a lasting effect on you money sites.
Make them look like diamonds with great authority domains, nice websites and unique quality content.
      Cheers
      Dan

Thnx, using a niche related expired domain is the best way but they're hard to find for some niches. That is why I wanted to use a non related domain name. What are the risks of buying a non related niche domain and change it by adding new content that is related to my niche?

I think it's safe to say, in this day and age, that if the links are of no relevance to the new content on the site, SE's will catch up on this and these links will lose their value or even harm your site in the long run. Leaving you with a long list of links to go through in your webmaster tools.

I would not go this route.

EDIT: Unless it's for a launch jack. Then it could still get you that initial (very short term) boost before everything has ran through the algoritms again, at which point your site will drop.
