hi,

I installed the all in one SEO pack in wordpress. I'm wondering how beneficial that is.
There are just a few things to set for each post, I fill the description, keywords and title boxes.
I'm not an SEO expert at all, but I feel this plugin is BS.

Do you use it, do you have any good results with it ?

What did you expect? It's not exactly rocket science to set a few tags and settings on a page. No plugin is able to do much more than that when it comes to on-page optimizations.

The best tools help you to create a XML sitemap and allow you to edit the titles and meta descriptions via templates or from one central location.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

    What's your excuse?

    What did I expect ?
I expected the seo pack to optimise my website in search engine results, or seo.
I can't really measure the results of that plugin because im not an seo expert, so I am seeking for other formumers opinions based on their experience.

I suggest you read a few articles about on-page SEO then. There's no push-button "optimize my website" tools available. These plugins basically alter only a few tags in the page head, but WordPress and a well-made theme would already have the most crucial functionality covered.

It's much more important to target the right keywords, and publish good content whatever it may be. SEO plugin may help you to optimize the content, titles and meta descriptions.

I do prefer Yoast SEO myself, but it's not silver bullet either.

That's the nice thing about that plugin. All you need to do is add your Meta Title and Description into the provided boxes when publishing your posts. That in itself will help you optimize your site.

I think you should go for the Yoast SEO plugin. This will work great for the search engine optimization of your WordPress website.
