What should I do after finding keywords

Hi friends,
Where can I get help regarding the keywords that I have shortlisted for my site? I have two sites hxxp://gadgetgarrio.com and hxxp://zerodollarblog.com I have been working on keywords to get from Google Analytics. What do I do after finalizing them?
I am using Yoast plugin for SEO on both sites.Do I add these keywords in the keyword section there?
I heard that we must use these keywords on our pages to improve SEO output. Am I right?
Please anyone correct me and throw some light on this. I am really in need of some help as I am putting backbreaking efforts with no results

    Hey

    Yes, after you find your keywords, you do want to add them within your plugin to fully optimize your content. Also, if you can, write your content with 3 different variations of your main keyword and make sure they are sprinkled throughout your content.

    Lastly, one great tip that really works for me is targeting 1 keyword per blog post. I am not a fan of long tailed keywords and its way easier to rank for 1 keyword.

      Thanks for mentioning that I can (or have to) write with variations in keywords.I also use the dropdown options we get when searching for keywords. That way, I have more keywords and those surrounding the main one.
      And yes, Yoast allows us to use only one KW per blog post. So, that I have been following for a while now.

        You are writing an SEO blog....about WP.

        Did you lose your keywords and now you have found them?

        You even write a blog entry about keyword research, keyword
        optimization, working with keywords, etc.

        Blind leading the blind.

          Thanks you marked some things in the first place. But writing posts and doing it practically are two different things - like being an expert in a certain field and the ability to teach. What I am trying to say is even if a person has knowledge of a specific issue, it does not mean that he will be a good teacher.
          Similarly, I did some things for the first time and needed guidance. So, I asked.

            So you should get your teacher to be someone who has absolutely no clue whatsoever on the subject matter ?. How does that even make him a good teacher.

            Anyway to answer your question, you don't need to worry about onpage optimization as much as link-building. In fact too much over-optimization can hurt instead of help. If i was you, i would focus on building links and also advise my readers to do the same.

      And make sure the keywords fits PERFECTLY and everything looks natural. A quick CSS and an usage of a H1 tag could be also helpful!

    After finding keywords, put your keyword in meta title, description and keyword tag. Clear on page optimization and then focus to generate quality back links.

    Yes you can add the keywords but you must input the keywords as part of your website's content.
