Keywork Planner confusion

I am looking up 'concrete construction' i The Keyword Planner, and I am getting very low numbers, which really surprises me as I have done this search before and swear I have seen much larger numbers.

This is what I see when I get the search results, and it looks suspicious to me.


So if the monthly graphic shows number around seven grand. How come the current numbers show in the low hundreds and tens?

Any ideas?

    Hi timpears,

    Your screenshot does not show the left column of the Keyword Planner where the Targeting defines location, languages, networks and keyword filters, those might be limiting the numbers you are seeing.

    Also I noticed in your screen shot that the data is for 802 keywords, so I would presume the search volume in the graph is for those 802 keywords, not just the 2 shown in the table.

    I'm sure the mystery will be solved by looking at your targeting settings.
