Let's say you make a blog post about a topic or recent news in your industry and want to throw in a link about your product that meets a need in your post. What is the best way to do it?

As example lets say you sell chocolate so at the end of the article you might write check out our hersheys dark chocolate, etc... or check out our chocolates at xxx.cpm. any ideas the best way to link to your money site from your blog?

Thanks

What you want is to create "Contextual Backlinks". The most effective place to put your link is going to be roughly in the middle of your article. I generally toss in 2; 1 to the homepage of my target site, and another to a keyword-specific subpage of my target site, about midway through my article.

Without having a look at the article you want to link from, it will be difficult to give you any specific advice. The examples in your opening post are all good. You can use any of them.

Anchor text links are the best links, however you need to balance them with unoptimized links as well.

When backlinking try avoiding dry search terms. Interject stop words and adjectives. Preferably incorporate brand name into your anchors.

If you slightly vary your anchors each time, you should be fine. I almost never repeat the same exact anchor text.

Anchor text link on upper half of page is best way. If its a unique product , get a link keeping product name as the anchor text else dont use exact matching anchor too over optimize your article.

Link building has to be natural and links should be earned. Paid Link will backfire in some time and your site will go down eventually. SO better spend time making backlinks through guest posting, social media, comments, directory submission ( highly selective ) , and most powerful source is PBN. ( Private Blog Network )

I used anchor text but I always make sure that that the phrase should not be totally promotional. I would wrote content and choose a catchy phrase and that's where I put the link.

Just write a small paragraph in between the article with your link and make it look like its related to the article. Or just write a sentence like "we tried 'anchored link to your site' and liked it etc. somewhere in the article that feels most natural.

I will use the example you provided.

    You are selling chocolates....
    1. You can make a blog post about the health benefits of dark chocolates or why they are better than the usual chocolates that we eat, then at the end of your post you can put a paragraph that recommends your chocolates.
    2. You can make a blog post on how dark chocolates are made, then recommend your product at the end.

In other words, write blog posts that are related to dark chocolates so you can recommend your product at the end of every posts.

    Hope this helps.
