If Backlinks SPAM Does Not Work Because People Use?

Almost every day I get a dozen spam comments on my blogs so I was wondering ... If the SPAM backlinks does not work why do people still do Backlinks Spam? Does anyone know tell me?

    Blog comments backlink spam still works if you can get a good AA list for scrapebox or GSA SER. If it wasn't working they wouldn't be wasting their time doing it.

    Also, not all of them are being paid to spam blogs. There are many of them spamming blogs with links for their own purposes, such as boosting their tier 2 or tier 3 backlinks.

    Not for main sites, its not but spam still works best for a lot of other different types of link-building e.g parasite pages/tier X links like SEO Power mentioned and other blackhat methods.

    Some people also try to do negative seo but thats probably makes up a very very small percent.
