    Looking forward.

I have couple of sites that have been heavily targeted by negative SEO. I've done my best to keep the disavow file up-to-date.

Yeah i was wondering if an update was going on because my sites dropped hard in ranking for a day or two and then came back. Looks like they were testing something.

The SERPs are very weird right now for my niche, parasite pages are getting ranked like crazy when a week ago they had trouble hitting page 1 even.

Could be them testing things out, no idea but i definitely don't like it lol. My churn and burn site is doing fine but the legit money site that i don't try stupid stuff on is losing its rankings by one or two positions everywhere :S

You won't have to worry about any of Google's update if you are using Whitehat Techniques.

Well that's not really true at all.

Very few of Googles updates have anything to do with SEO at all really.

      Take Panda for example.

One day your site set up was fine, the next day it was rubbish. No one was wearing any hats.

I think you are seriously confused about google updates. Many have zip to do with
whitehat techniques. Like the one some were going gaga over....https...

Any site could get caught in a google update, either directly or indirectly.

A lot of truth in that comment. Google updates are always going to contain changes that will harm many sites that are doing things "right." Everything is a numbers game. Google isn't manually reviewing every web page on the Internet. Their algorithms aren't geared to be 100% effective as that's impossible with those kinds of numbers. Google will never get it 100% correct, so there will always be some collateral damage. There are billions of web pages on the Internet, so even if it's just a few percent of pages that are wrongly hurt by an update, that's still 10s or 100s of thousands of pages that wrongly drop in rankings. Each webmaster that's hurt by an update will be outraged and feel wronged, but Google is thousands of engineers looking at things from a numbers, odds, percentage, engineering way of viewing things, and with that in mind they are going to simply accept it as fact that there is always going to be some bad along with the greater good (from their perspective).

No one knows when Penguin 3 will be released. Fluctuations happen all the time in the SERPs and updates - many unannounced - are constantly being released.

I've noticed over the past couple of days the keywords where I ranked multiple internal pages on the same domain/s are showing even more of my internal pages per keyword.

Example, my keywords that previously had 2 pages ranked per keyword now show 3 pages (per keyword).

    No complaints here...

Anyone see any changes ? Rankings didn't change here but when googling my site it seems like what links show may have changed a little. Maybe this past week was a big web crawl or something panda related happened.
