Doubts in webmaster tools??

Hi all

My site started showing in search results but in webmaster tools i can see more keywords(queries with impressions)but when i search through those pages my site is not listed. Why is it so?

    It could be because of two things:
    1. The actual searcher's location which is different from yours.
    2. The ranking for those keywords might have changed (esp for longtail keywords)

    webmaster tools indicate average rating, so sometime you may rank in top, sometime lower for them.

    Other than that localisation and personalized results are another reason for why what you search for from your own pc does not correspond to the results displayed by webmaster tool, which takes into account ranking across all data servers.

    Because Webmaster Tools show keywords related to your site and not
    keywords used by Internet surfers.
