I've read the FAQs and searched the help center.
My URL is: VIEW NIGERIA - Nigeria's 8th Most Read News Platform

Hello Everyone,

Let me put it this way, I just bought a SSL certificate for my blog at (https://www.viewngr.com) but only the http:// is index, i dont know if i should submit another site this way ( https://www.viewngr.comsitemap.xml ) for index since i have (http://www.viewngr.com/sitemap.xml ) submitted. The different is the HTTPS and HTTP

Please someone that understand me, please should give answer and to what i can do.

I did this following the Google Recent HTTPS update

Thanks.. will be glad to see answers

https is not going to make one iota of difference for your site.

I have no idea why people jumped on this as some magic wand.

You never have to submit anything to google.

First a 301 redirect. But as far as https, literally everything on your
site needs to be changed to https. If your site is huge with a lot of
scripts, images, etc., that's a daunting task for someone with zero
knowledge if it's not setup automatically. Contact your host or someone.

I am laughing a little, because I can imagine a lot of people scrambled to
get an https, then kept other links on the site unsecure. And that is
    a disaster....

Fight the urge to https unless yoou absolutely positively need to do it.
Then hire someone to make the change.

Google will index your secured URL version without any action from your part, but you need to redirect the http version to the https to avoid duplication.
