Domain Forwarding/Pointers With SEO

I hope someone can help me shed some light on this. I have a blog with a very long URL - call it www.(long-url).com - and I've forwarded a new domain name - call it www.(new-domain).com to www.(long-url).com. I did this for two reasons. the first, is because I dont have the original url hosted on my own hosting platform. second is because the Url is long and unattractive.
My question is, for SEO purposes, will Google Index www.(new-domain).com and all of original Url's page contents? Or will google only see the new domain only and never crawl the remainder of the pages of the Blog? I noticed google has the blog in search results, but i dont see any of the sub pages. Eg. The pages being www.(long-url).com/Page1 , Page 2 etc . I hope this question makes sense, its hard to explain.
