Im currently doing some analysis of the amount of content i will need for an up coming project, i was wondering for those who have experience in this. ( of course this is a broad estimate, just doing research.)

Should i count googles omitted results too, or should i base my assumptions with the omitted results out of the picture.

Honestly, you shouldn't count any of them. It is a waste of time.

Who cares how many there are? If you can beat #3, then #4 through 750,000 really do not matter much.

If you can't beat #3, well, then it doesn't matter much if there are only 30.

Thanks for the reply mike. I understand what you're saying, i just want a rough idea of how much content i need make to level the playing field for this keyword.

But yes, the goal is to beat out the 10th competitor first, then ill work my way up to 1-3.

I usually come out of the box with 15 plus articles, i was just curious how much more effort i should be putting into this certain keyword.
