    They update PR internally every single day on a continuous basis and factor that into the ranking algorithm every day.

    They very occasionally export a useless historical representation of that internal PR to the toolbar to amuse kiddie SEO's, SEO wannabes and SEO's from India.

    No one will have the remotest idea when that export will or will not happen.

      I've wondered how often they recalculate each page.

      And what you meant by saying SEO's from India ? Many US and UK businesses are taking businesses from Indian Companies and they are quite happy.

        Google have been updating PR internally on a continuous daily basis since 2005 and factoring that into the ranking algorithm continuously. Any real SEO knows that.

    Does it matter? The PR update is in fact just an update of the page rank that is shown by PR checkers. The real PR is being updated continuously.
