Anyone ever get those e-mails saying they will put you on the first page if google? It's so annoying. Where do these people find our websites?

If they're so good at SEO they shouldn't need to spam people over and over. What the hell.;/

They just scrape the whois database and build their own csv file.

    sitename,owner name,owner email

Then just slam that into a email template.

    To:[owner email]
    Dear [owner name],
I was checking out [sitename] and noticed that you could be getting more traffic....

    This is elementary school stuff....

I found it a bit hilarious.. but digging deeper, if you want more credibility, you would publish a 'personal' email address for all to see, and at the same time you are giving the go signal to get spammed..

What email provider are you using now? I never see spam emails like this unless I purposefully check the spam folder (which is rarely ever).
