Help with SEO linking domains

There is a separate SEO forum for this stuff and lots of info there.

You do (obviously) link some resources to your money site, but usually a buffer of quality reliable sites that you can pound with spammy links without worrying that your main site gets penalized.

For example, you may have a nice clean (now extinct) Squidoo review page that links to your money site and you pound that Squidoo lens with fiverr SEO gigs.

Since places like Squidoo (extinct) and Hubpages could delete your account/pages at any time it is more reliable to have your own PBN (Private Blog Network) or get paid links through someone else's PBN or blogs.

The idea is that thousands of spammy backlinks will drip some SEO to your buffer site which will drip some of that SEO to your money site without your money site link profile being filled with spam.

I am not recommending any of this or suggesting the best way to make it "work", but giving you an idea of what people mean when they say you shouldn't "link to your money site".

In SEO there are ongoing arguments about the best way to rank a page and what constitutes White Hat and Black Hat.

I recommend seeking out some authoritative SEO sites like SEO Moz (moz.com) and going through their online SEO guides. They are free.

Edit - About your articles:
If they are quality articles that are going on a site you want to link to your money page that is fine- a guest blog post, Ezine articles, Hubpages.

If they are going to be spun 100x and submitted to hundreds of sites then that is the kind of stuff you would want to link to a buffer site.
