Linkdin - SEO benefit?

Do you think having a linkid showing that you're the owner of your site provided any SEO benefit?

In other words if you're not looking to join linkid to socialize much do you think it is still worth having?

    If you are not going to use it then it's not going to be useful.
    SEO wise it's not worthwhile either.

    The only thing is, probably preparing for the future so that you can use it someday, until then it's not going to be useful but then it's doesn't hurt to have it and not use it.

    If you are going to use it go for it. It won't hurt. But its better to have it where you will actually use the profile and actually provide value. It's not about having a bunch of links. It's about the quality of the link. It's better for that link to be active. That's why forums work so great. Because you can be active within the forum making your profile more powerful.

    You can't get anything or benefit on something you're not going to devote your time, effort, focus etc. In business or job perspective LinkedIn is a go go.

    LinkedIn is not a useful social site for seo. Even it can little help to increase traffic. I don't use it for SEO purpose.
