SEO Hosting Necessary...

I am wanting to get several related keyword domains and build up content sites mainly for backlinks. If I own, say 10, large sites that are all located on the same server, will google discover this and penalize me. I'm asking this because there are companies that offer pretty expensive hosting for separate c-classes(seohosting..) . The hostgator reseller license looks pretty attractive, but I don't want to invest in a bunch of domains and have google penalize me because I'm linking back to sites that are on the same hosting account(c class). Thanks for the help.

    If done on a small scale (10 sites linking back to 1 on the same server), I doubt that affects anything much one way or another. Some shared servers host more than 2000+ sites on a single I.P.
