I think the smarter your PPC campaigns are the less money you will need to make it work, just split it in the right places and as they told you before, 10 bucks a day is a reasonable budget.

To that I would add a couple of things, use negative words as well and geographic limits, it selects your audience much better, excluding words as “free” or something you don’t need.
