buy a single domain for each niche.. and try and have them keyword heavy.

Also have a look at wordpress as a cms for publishing your content.

Chuck a few up initially and do the usual rss submissions, sitemaps and social bookmarking, then drip feed your blog every other day with 1-2 articles.

Try and feed backlinks to each of those...
