Hi

Greetings!

What is the best way to create a website without spending
a great deal on buying domain names if you have a lot of
PLR articles laying in your hard disks?

What website platform or format should you use? And how
are you going to create it?

Please give me your best suggestion.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely

    Hi Richard

It really depends upon a lot of things - if you want the cheapest method possible create a WordPress.com blog for free.

A step above that would be to register a .info domain name, GoDaddy often has these for 99 cents for the first year. Watch out though, the renewal will be more like 15 dollars next year, but if your site is making money by then it is a minor business expense.

If you want to "splurge" buy a .com domain name, Google for coupons for GoDaddy or NameCheap and you can probably land one for about 8 dollars. It's much more professional than a .info.

You could use free hosting with your domain name, but it isn't recommended. Hostgator can set you up with a plan for less than 8 bucks a month, and you can often find coupons to get the first month free.

Once you have a host setup a WordPress site and start marketing your PLR!

    Good luck

as bill said, go to goaddy after finding a coupon code, reg a .com or .net there.

setup a Hostgator hosting account, these people are top notch. Highly recommended. i currently have 14 domains hosted with them.

Once your hosting is setup and your domain ready to go, using fantastico from your hostgator account it is a simple 1-2 click to install and have a wordpress or joomla site up and running ready for your to set the content.

doing this your site should be up and running ready for you to put yoru stuff in in a matter of an hour or two. from there you would either use the default theme, or go get a free or premium theme to give it a bit more of a personal look and feel.

      Hi Bill & VisualWebEffects

Thank you for the sound advice.

Do you guys suggest that I buy respective domain names
targeted towards my PLR artice subjects, or buy a generic
domain name to accommodate all the articles?

      Yours sincerely

buy a single domain for each niche.. and try and have them keyword heavy.

Also have a look at wordpress as a cms for publishing your content.

Designing a website isn't as tough as before wordpress is a good choice for blog type site. But if u want to build site after u get domain and hosting. A no cost option is kompozer for HTML design and Gimp for graphics. Both are FREE.

Wordpress is one of the most popular platform for blog publishing. It will be better to choose unique domains for specific niches. Don't mix all in one.

I would definitely recommend Wordpress.com to start out. It won't cost anything to get started. After you get setup with a web hosting account (HostGator.com is fine), then you can install a self-hosted wordpress blog on your own domain. Wordpress has a feature that will allow you to export all of your blog posts, categories, etc. from one blog and then upload that to another blog. This way you won't lose all of your articles when getting setup with your own website.

If you do not want to buy too many domains, then buy 1 domain common, and create a sub-domain for each niche within this domain.

If you buy the domain www..common..com

Then a subdomain would be niche1.common.com, another sub-domain would be niche2.common.com.

All hosting services allow you to have several sub-domains free of cost.

Also search engines consider each sub-domain as a separate website, and crawl them individually.
