Cost to Build Affiliate Networks

I have a question regarding what to charge another marketer to find him affiliates? Would I charge per affiliate or a percentage of what those affiliates bring in?

Any ideas?

    Let's assume I'm the other marketer for a second...

    I would ask you to find me affiliates and suggest to you a revenue share of 10-40 percent depending on my profit margin. For example, giving you 40% of my 50% (and the affiliate receiving the other 50%) might be a tough sales proposition.

    I wouldn't like the pay by affiliate option because I really don't know if your affiliates deliver.

    The performance based option would be my personal preference.

      Tomma, these were my exact thoughts. I was thinking about asking for 50% of the author's 50% so it would be 50% to affiliate, 25% to me and 25% to author. But I may place a performance cap on it. For instance, 10% for me if their sales are x, 20% if x times 2, etc.

      I think as a content owner myself, I may go for this deal as I might have to give up 75% on clickbank to affiliates anyway till my product is proven.
