What if this happened to you? (Facebook, Twitter, Gmail Account got Hacked)

NOTHING TO BUY HERE

However, it might really going to cost you money if you don't "buy" my idea (information).

- No opt-in download: WF-Secure Your Facebook, Twitter, Google Accounts From FireSheep Hacks Report.pdf (43.2 KB)

Let me ask you:

Are you using any social media as your money-making platform? Facebook? Twitter? Gmail? Wordpress.com? Bit.ly... and many other free but UNSECURE platforms?

This is about account hacking/sniffing that was happening recently. Check it out at your local news source and you might get some information about that.

"They Said They Can Sniff into our Facebook/social Accounts Easily... "

And it's TRUE, I've tested this onto my own accounts!

Look what some other Warriors had to say:

OMG. I'd rather pay than use that ... even before this app was released.

Another tip for Google's Gmail account, I've just noticed about this from my brother's account. You can set it to https instead of using the normal http link...

This is important, warriors, make sure yours is well set to avoid any kind of hackings/sniffing problems onto you!

    GOOD NEWS!

If you try to log in to your Twitter account now, it shows as HTTPS and not HTTP anymore! That means it's much more safety now!

Get a good antivirus program and run it in safe mode once a week is the way I keep safe. Yet to have any problems.

      This is not about antivirus?

It sniffed your cookies if the data for the surfing session was not encrypted...

      That's why it's scary.

But the problem is, the Mod has moved it to this forum, and no one would be able to be notified about this.

This hacking/sniffing thing is a serious problem in my opinion, and everyone should get to know about this, especially us, the online marketers....

Being hacked is not a joke because you will lose all your friends in that social networking sites. But if that happened then just relax and create another one.

It's not just about losing your friends, etc.

Many people are using the same password for their emails, private sites, etc.

A lot of companies own at least a social networking account nowadays.

if they got hacked, that would be a loss for them, and probably some other privacy matter would be affected too.

So, in a nutshell, please take good care of yourselves, and spread the word out to your friends, etc.

Excellent information here! Unless you have a free account on one of those Social Sites or free email account then you really need to be very careful where you logon from on the net.

Stay away from net cafes and public areas where there's apt to be hackers/crackers.
It's just important to be aware, get educated and figure out how to be safe on the internet.

        Thanks for the share
