CPA Newbie- A few Questions (I have networks)

Hey,

with the help of the forum I wanted to work with CPA offers. I have signed up with a few networks, and I'm yet approved with two of them.

I have some questions remaining, hope I'll get answers.
First: I have a voucher from BlueHost for MIVA of $25, is it worth the effort to sign up and try them?

Does anyone uses Ask to run PPC campaings?

I have signed up with yahoo advertising, but I'm wondering about a startup fee of $25, why that? And, in general, can I set the offer link directly to my "refferal" link for the CPA offer or is it better to create a landing page (I think the offer itself is a landing page...).

Thank you very much for your answers,
Will

    I have never used MIVA.

What do you mean use "Ask" for PPC?

You can do both. Either direct link, or landing page with Yahoo.

Yes of course, you need $25 start up fee - How do you expect to fund your account if you can come u with start up fee.

Maybe you should try "Free" methods of traffic to your affiliate offers.

    Hope this helps.

I think the $25 startup fee is to prevent people from making infinite accounts with 100% free vouchers.

          Hello Gents,
I would suggest 7search.com as a reliable site for running PPC campaigns. At least it works for me.
I hope it helps a bit.

This is completely true. 7Reach are great and very helpful!
But I think this network is a little hard to get into.

            Best luck!

If you're talking about "7Search" its not a CPA network, its a PPC ad network like google adwords. Its easy to get in, just open an account.

Be wary though, they don't have much traffic and there is A LOT of click fraud.........although it does work well in the adult market, I've found.

              Peace

Agreed. And yes, you can go the direct link route but your best bet is to create a sustainable income stream. Build your landing pagem maybe try a squeeze to build a list, and think long term here.

And yes, ppc is great but as a newbie, your best bet is to go free or very cheap traffic methods. Until you learn the ropes at least.

Would also recommend this. There is tons of free traffic, just to try your marketingskills and see what landinpage gives you the best result etc.

YouTube might be hard, or it depends what niche you are in I guess. Otherwise, there is tons of social media network. Great for free traffic.

I got a pretty badass facebook-eBook that I will be releasing soon I guess. Will just use it myself and try different techniques until I reach maxmiun profit per day. Brand new, and I've never, ever seen this method here before. Its gotta be the best method for CPA :-) *bragging*.

Good luck, and do not give up. One day, your CPA-account will be filled with money, I promise.

I say who cares about your CPA account...that only includes revenue, not costs. If your CPA account has a million dollars but your credit card has 1.2 million...not good

So shoot for a huge bank account, not cpa account

        haha

I would do exactly what these guys have advised, if you are not sure how to convert that traffic and remain profitable, the chances are you will loose your shirt!

    Hey guys,
thank you so much for all the answers! I have learned to start with free traffic, so I will try to make money this way and then reinvest after some time into PPC.

    Thanks

I too decided to make my IM start in the cpa world as it seemed the easiest to break into. By no means am I an expert but I have managed to turn a profit finally. My suggestion is to first read all of Kenster's posts. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to CPA stuff. The second suggestion is to start with free traffic methods. I know that some people are totally against article marketing but that is how I finally managed to start getting real traffic to my sites. If you can't or simply don't like to write there are quite a few services out there that provide great articles at reasonable prices (write your own at first if at all possible to save the money). To this day I have not paid a dime for traffic (other that paying to have articles written due to laziness) and my profits are multiplying exponentially now. Many people try to make the CPA business harder than it really is. Keep it simple to start off with and you will see results if you stay at it.

Thanks robp234 for your answer. Yes, I know, I just have to try it. Finally I can't write articles myself because I'm not a native english speaker... so, I have to get traffic with other free ways.

But: I just wanted to ask if it's ok to use Clicksor or Bidvertiser to drive PPC traffic to my CPA offers? And do I have to hide the URL or something?

I suggest you to not do direct linking if you are starting to do CPA.

If you are driving traffic by PPC, then your aim should be GOOGLE. And google doesn't allow direct linking.

Direct Linking is ok with YAHOO, but who knows; they might change their policies in future.

Also, best 3 PPC engines are GOOGLE, YAHOO and MSN.

Order: Google > Yahoo > Msn

So, make a landing page and try google.

    Just my $0.002...

I would start off with Yahoo as competition is generally lower than Google.

But I'd stay away from lower tier PPC networks and only concentrate on Yahoo, Google and MSN. They have the best quality of traffic.
