Looking to hire a video editor

Hey guys,

I have a few video footage that I want to be edited and put together for me. The content is about 15-20 min long per video and I am producing them as we speak.

As Far As Deliverable:
I would like these videos to be engaging, controversial, entertaining with the (call to action) for the one watching to reciprocate by posting comments, questions, thoughts on blog.

High quality clean editing job with pan & zoom on video footage linked with the PowerPoint segments. You can use some background sound natural sounds but no music/instruments please.

To let you inside my head of what I'm looking to model, I really like the Video Boss style but it doesn't have to be as sophisticated as the ones you're seeing with these big Guru Launches.

The powerpoint animations don't have to be THAT sophisticated but it would be great if each bullet was in sync with the audio I am providing.

I'm looking for a quick next-day to 48hr turnaround as well.

What I'll be providing:
Script for the content
PowerPoint with content bullets
Audio to go with slides
Some video footage

Price range:
$10-$12/hr

Please send me a sample of your videos that you think will come close to what I am looking for above in my description.

    Video editing is a very cumbersome and time consuming process. I doubt if you would find anyone in that price range you quoted. Good luck finding one and if you find a good one, let me know as well.

      I'm looking at 42 results.

      And oDesk is not the only site around.

    I doubt you will find anyone here that will do it that cheap, but I could be wrong.

    I get all my tech stuff like this, that I don't want to do, done at odesk.com, really cheap and most of the people on there have degrees, just an option.

    I agree with yourreviewer. I do all of my own work because it was cheaper, and I get what I want. That, and I love it.

    I am doing some work for a real estate company only because I have seen their track record and we have worked out a JV.

    I've seen the Video Boss videos as well, and I am tellin' ya now, there is no way to get that caliber of work with out some serious green. It's not just effects, it's the minutia of it all. I am writing here now because I am waiting for my workspace in Premiere to render so I can make sure everything flows well.

    Hey guys thanks for the reality slap on the pricing I changed my posts to around $15-$20/hr.

    I got some coaching and was told to let go of the video boss style and go for something that will be more streamline for me and will allow me to get my content up.

    So I dumped the video footage mixed with powerpoint style presentation and just sticking with powerpoint style now.

    I'm totally a do-it-yourself guy with all my work but the video editing stuff TOTALLY drained me

    I posted on Odesk and other places as well and got some responses back and communicating with some providers.
