Advice on a New CB Product and Sales Page?

Hey Fellow Warriors,

I recently put my first product up on ClickBank, but because it is my first, I was hoping to maybe get some advice from the experts here on what the general process is to draw in potential affiliates. I'm just looking for general advice here at the moment, so I can get it as close to "right" as possible as soon as possible.

What I have:

- An info product on CB (video tutorial course on home audio recording)
- A new and improved sales page with video, audio, screen pics of the course, a description of each lesson, etc.

What would be, say, one thing I should do now.

Thanks!

Ken

The page is too small, the sales letter short, no affiliates part...you need a lot of work on this page in order to achieve something. Have a look at major CB sites and compare it to yours and see what you are missing.

Hi Ken if this is your site it's pretty good, it's a little too like a face book site and pretty corporate.

I personally think you need to decide it's either a personal site for individual self help (learning new skills etc) or aimed at the corporate market but the idea is a sound one. Good luck mate.

There's too much on the site to distract the main focus...selling your course.

Use one site to sell one product, don't link or monetize with adds, they take viewers off your site. Hope you don't mind the comments. All constructive you'll note.

I'm sure you'll get there mate

Actually J, I quite like your feedback. I've been thinking along the lines that you are mentioning. But since my main site at Home Recording-Set Up Your Own Home Studio|Learn How To Record is starting to rank well, and I've got several hundred pages indexed, I've been reluctant to use different sites for different things. It feels unfocused somehow.

Is that the site you were referring to? I did start a new domain just for the sales (and affiliate...ASAP) pages for the course at Home Recording Headquarters - Home Recording Studio on Your Computer

Also, since Home Brew Audio is the site that is getting the traffic, it seemed like the place to put affiliate ads as well as hawking my course. But I see your point about having too many goals for the main page.

Sheesh, this stuff is not that easy:p

      But thanks again!
