My last post seems to have been removed for some odd reason but this is a very good question. If you are granted $1500 a month to promote a product on FB, what would you do with that money? Why are good questions like this removed, and dumb ones like "should I start IM" get 500 responses. Beats me. Seems like Amateur hour here.

Make some killer ad, with graphics, banners, logos included. Maybe some video too, engaging real people, not to say actors, that promote in a way that product. Something smart and unique. All depends on the product to be promoted.

Before you spend visit CopyBecker.com and look up Michelle Pescosolido and Jerry Banfield on Youtube. They will teach you all you need to know for FREE.

    My opinion:
    1. Get a high converting page
    2. Have lead capture conversions tracked to the T
    3. Make your FB ad congruent with the offer on your landing page
    4. Keep the offer simple and easily understandable. Don't be too smart bro; simplicity works.
    5. Always have an offer right after the optin if you're not going for the sale first. You could easily recoup your ad spend.
    6. Start with a small test. Maybe a hundred clicks @ $100 to $150 which equals a dollar or $1.50 per click. Make sure this test is tracked. If it is a good campaign, scale.
    7. Good targeting mate. You will find out more about this from people I referred earlier. Yes, for FREE.

    Best wishes.

Good advice for sure but are you are skipping the building a list part?

I would buy good products monthly like aweber or getresponse, mass marketing concepts and Adobe photoshop. Probably not enough but at least a start. Now that I'm fre of interruptions I'd love to get back into marketing. Even a refresher course would help. Beats giving psychic readings but maybe that could be one of my products. I got your message and I hope my reply helps. Georgina fr Australia

What does buying Adobe Photoshop has anything to do with advertising on Facebook?

Anyways, If you have a monthly $1500 budget to advertise on fb, I recommend you create a product and use the money to build a fan page and a list. You can offer them a free report to capture their emails and offer your product in the back end.

I would not recommend direct linking to random offers from clickbank and the like because fb traffic is the toughest traffic to convert.

Try getting in good networks and search for relevant and high paying offer's and try to get targeted traffic for your offers

  • I would draw out the sales funnel you have planned for your promotion, and first of all think about who you are targeting.

Then, decide on your "thank you" page and what your method of conversion will be. So, will you pitch on the thank you page or deliver value through some sort of free training and pitch later, or a hybrid of the 2 methods.

Whenever you are doing paid traffic, the important thing is to "start small" and track EVERYTHING. I personally use the facebook conversion pixel so that I can see (at a glance) what my lead cost is and how each campaign is performing.

Why don't you go to Vegas and spend it at a casino? We all know facebook ads are just a scam.

We all don't know that...I've made a ton of money from Facebook ads and they've been anything but a scam.

    I would do the following:

    1) Create a Facebook page in a niche I want to sell shirts and other products to and have researched to make sure shirts will sell.
    2) Use $500 of the money to build out the page by buying likes directly from Facebook for the page. A properly optimized campaign should net me at least 10,000 likes and probably more than that once the organic reach starts to kick in.
    3) Spend the rest selling T-Shirts and other products to the people who liked my page.
    4) Use the money I'm making to build a list.
