How to create an official fb page

How can I create an official Facebook page with a Facebook address?

I created an Author page and select official page, but my page just created but has no link like Facebook.com/ptcrefko.

I asked my friend if he could search my fb page, but he said he can't find it too.

    If I am remembering correctly, it is a feature FB offers you only after you get 100 likes (or something like that). They USED to offer it right away, but I think they want to encourage more people buying their ads. So now you have to wait until you get enough new likes to make the link customized.

    You only need 25 likes/fans to get the vanity url you want.

    Go to www.facebook.com/username (signed in) and you should be able to start the process there.
