Twitter and Facebook automatic download

Hi guys,

For my biz, I'd like to offer a "free gift" (pdf) to anyone who likes my facebook page or follows me on twitter.

Is there any software that will automatically send something to someone who likes me on facebook or follows me on twitter?

    Regarding facebook, when you set-up your facebook page for your business, you can add widgets, apps, or create a sub-page that is visible only to people who liked your page.

    Regarding twitter, since lists of followers are public, you should use twitter api to parse your followes and whenever is someone new, send them a direct message with a link to your pdf.

    I think you have a better option here, one that will get you a big email list. After they like or follow your page, redirect them to a sign-up form: "enter your email address to receive your gift". On faecbook we can do this with an app added on your page. An app can be created with the html code of your sign-up form from an email marketing company.

      First off, Thanks for the reply thedark, I appreciate it.

      Heres my situation that may make a little bit more sense.

      I have a youtube channel where I get everything from: my traffic, my facebook likes, my twitter followers, my website traffic etc. The youtube channel is where all my traffic comes from.

      Currently, i get tens of thousands of views via my youtube channel each day and in my videos I offer a large "free gift" which I get a constant flow of new signups to my email list. My list is working out great but I was thinking of other ways to monetize - and looking to monetize other offers separately on facebook and twitter (kinda like having 2 separate lists where I could pitch other offers too)

      Would thinking of twitter and facebook as two separate email lists be a good way to look at them?

      I like that and didn't know that, thank you. That answers my question for facebook.

    Hi,

    Zapier and IFTTT are softwares to create automatizations.
    For exemple on IFTTT you can create a template and choose "If a new people follow me" then... "send him a DM" or an other thing...

    The same on Zapier but IFTTT is easier
