Traffic from FB / Adsense

On the Facebook there is an option to purchase ads for website (not FanPage).

Ex. mywebsitee.com (with Adsense ads)

Question is this: is Google Adsense rules allow this form of traffic?

Whether or not it is a violation of the principles of the program?

Can anyone use this method?

Except FB advertising is not cheap. In most cases ads will start showing at around 30-40 cents per click. If the idea is to make money with AdSense, chances are it will barely cover the cost of FB advertising and most likely you will be losing money. I'd try Bing Ads instead if I were you.

I was about to say that there are actually a bunch of campaigns that perform really well when it's done right and this is one of them here! No 30 and 40 cents a click stuff if you have the right campaign set up.

        @ ThePhresh85,

I'm wondering if maybe you could recommend me a good mentor.

Or can you give me some tips about Adsense via Facebook on PM.

        Best Regards, Lukas

First, I clearly said: "In most cases" I didn't say: " In all cases".

I used FB advertising extensively advertising mostly in the US / Canada / Australia & the UK. My PPC has never been lower than 30 cents. As a matter of fact, FB suggests that my PPC should be 96 cents for my ads to reach the majority of my audience.

Obviously, if you open a campaign to all countries it will lower your PPC, but the traffic will be nothing but trash. I need quality traffic, and I guarantee you, you will pay a whole lot more than €0.02 if you want quality traffic.

  • Yes, it's legitimate traffic you will be buying. Now, depending on how you set up your campaigns, ads you use and audience you target it can cost more that your revenue from adsense.

Many users are tweaking FB ads to use for Adsense though.

It is probably fine, but Adsense can ban you for any reason at all. I know a couple of people who got banned and have no idea what they did wrong.

    MMMartinIs right!
You need to see everything in proportion and try to test in couple of ways(meaning facebook,
    bing, google etc etc).

so try different things and decide what best for you.

There is no harm in buying traffic from different resources but always keep one thing in mind to lower your CTR work with your audience to get more from Adsense.
