Does tightening my audience reduce the Facebook OCPM?

I'm promoting an ADHD offer which I expected to be more attractive to men, because they have three times the prevalence of this issue. But so far with 16 leads, one is obviously male, one is indeterminant, and the other 14 are obviously female.

So I'm thinking of tightening my targeting to females only in order to lower my CPM costs. Right now I'm using Facebook's optimized CPM.

Is this a good idea?

    Yes. Tighten your targeting to the demographic most likely to respond. Although men may have it more than women, it may be that women are more likely to like/respond to your ad.
