How to Verify YouTube Channel

You can go to http://www.youtube.com/verify and provide a phone number for either a call or text to verify. This will send a verification code that you’ll plug in to your YouTube account so they know that you’re not a spammer. However, some countries don't accept texts from Google.
To verify your YouTube channel name you will need to connect it to your G+ page and profile.

If you cannot verify by phone, you can use K7. K7 is a web-based unified messaging system that channels your free voicemail and fax messages directly to your e-mail. K7 provides you with a free phone number. This number enables you to have your voicemail messages delivered directly to your computer. You also have the option to listen to your voice messages on the K7 website.

1. go to K7 Unified Messaging, free Fax and voicemail to email.
2. click on 'sign up'
3. enter and re-enter your email
4. enter a 4 digit security code (numbers only)
5. go to the bottom of the screen, enter the captcha, click submit. K7 will now give you a phone number
6. at the top, click on MyK7 in the menu
7. enter you 10 digit K7 phone number without dashes (-)
8. enter your 4 digit security code and click submit. Don't close the K7 page
9. go to https://www.youtube.com/features
10. Click verify
11. Select your country - choose United States
12. select call with automated voice message
13. when it asks for phone number, enter you K7 number
14. back on your MyK7 page you will click on my messages
15. the message will give you the verification code to enter on youtube

I think he means like the actual YouTube verification... Like with the check mark beside your name. You'll just have to wait for that magic hand from YouTube for that.
