Facebook Ads Question

Hello Warriors!

So I'm currently running some facebook ads to get likes to my facebook page, and I'm doing decent so far, yesterday I was able to achieve likes at around $0.14/like, which is not too bad.

Today I changed up some pictures and the text of the ad to highlight the call of action more and make the message more simple and direct.

I'm also trying out setting a max bid for the ads. I'm using the Clicks Objective, and setting a max bid per click.

Can anyone give me anymore tips or advice on optimizing ads to lower costs?

Thank you!!

Why are you messing with max CPC bids and using the "Clicks" objective? You don't want "clicks", you want "likes". Stick with oCPM optimized for likes so they only show your ad to people who are likely to "like" your page. Doing what you are doing is going to INCREASE costs.

You'll just have to keep experimenting. Mainly with 2 Things

    1. Your image
    2. Your targeting

Make sure your targeting is specific. Instead of targeting 'dog's' or 'tradies' or 'nurses' target associations/clubs/companies those niches are connected to. This should increase CTR = decreased costs.

Split test different images. I split test 5-10 every day and every now and then I'll find something that gets me better CTR. Ideally you want to split test a LOT of pretty much everything. This is the process to get better results.
