I use Facebook for my offline business and it's an absolute goldmine because next to no local businesses are using it. They either don't know how or they tried and gave up, because I have seen other ads now and then.

We get at least 1/3 of our business from Facebook.

However, Facebook seems to have faded in the realm of finding people who will actually take action in relationship to your business promotions. Twitter on the other hand often produces more action when I share my marketing promotions.... Stumbleupon is also getting me much more active response in my marketing than facebook.
