Facebook Marketing Question

Hey guys, I'm new to Facebook marketing and I would like your opinion on something. What is the best way to run an affiliate ad on Facebook? Is it better to create a landing page or direct link to the offer?

Thanks in advance!

      Thirded!

Building an email list will enable you to market to these people over and over instead of just the once, therefore giving you long term income as well as short term.

Yeah I pretty much agree with what erob said.

Whatever niche you are targeting, research a common problem in that niche and create a product that solves the problem. It dosent have to just be an ebook, it can be a course, video, word document, etc.

Then market that product. You can do this by creating Facebook ads with a great picture and ad copy. If the ad is good enough you will see a good number of people downloading that sucker. Once they opt-in send them to your affiliate offer and make some $$. Hopefully it's enough to cover your traffic costs.

      Hope that helps!

I will give this a try but why wouldn't you just send them directly to the offer? Couldn't the user possibly lose interest after the redirect?

        Thanks for your help!

Direct Linking: Directing the visitor straight from your ad to the advertiser’s offer page. You’ll do this through an affiliate link so you can get credit for any sales you generate. The path looks like this: Visitor clicks your ad –> Offer Page. Using our scenario, someone clicks your ad on Facebook and then they immediately go to the eHarmony page.

Landing Page: A page that you create and host. The point of a landing page is they help increase the visitor’s desire to complete the actions you want. The path looks like this: Vistor clicks your ad –> Your Landing Page -> Offer Page. Using our scenario, someone clicks your ad on Facebook, goes to your landing page, and has the option of going to the eHarmony

Ok it sound like the best thing to do is create a landing page with some sort of free content and then redirecting them to the offer. Thanks guys I really appreciate the help!

Update: So I created a landing page and went to Facebook to start my campaign. I initially thought that I would create a Facebook dark post without a fan page but if I do that my ad will only show up on the right hand column. This won't work for me because the offer I chose is a mobile app download and my main goal is to run my add on the mobile news feed. Do you guys recommend that I create a Facebook fan page and then run the add connected to that page? Also, what would I make the fan about? The app, general marketing, a app review page, etc?

Facebook marketing is easy and fastest way to get close with customer... But it happens when you make sure that your page is up to date.
