Facebook Ads account permantely disabled...please help!

Hello fellow warriors,

Yesterday I received the dreaded and shocking e-mail from Facebook Ads that my account has been permanently disabled! :-(

I have been a massive Facebook ads spender. I been using that platform for over 5 years (mastered it by now) and spent thousands and thousands of dollars.

It says I violated their TOS. Didn't say exactly how. Didn't give me a warning. They been approving my campaigns and let them run for weeks and all of a sudden without warning I am permanently disabled.

I am guessing it is from a squeeze page that took people to an aff offer in their thank you page.

They said I can file an appeal if I think this was a mistake.

I been hearing appeals are useless. They don't care and stick by their decision.

Here is my dilemma. Number one I invested a lot in Facebook and the data I got (lookalike audiences, pixels, custom audiences) is very valuable to me.

Is it worth appealing?

If not, how can I open a new account?

Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards
Mark

Sometimes I worry to put affiliate link using FB ad.

Is it you direct ad ?

without using a Facebook page ?

what I learn from other warriors here , they share some ideas we all here to learn..

is safer to make a Facebook Page and from the post inside you page just boast the post to get engagement ( cheaper to get more audience attention )

I not expert on FB just say what I happen to see from here last time etc

I totally disagree with this statement. You could open a new Facebook account using a different name but you can't get a new identity for a credit card or bank account unless you use illegal methods.

they have gotten better about giving you another chance. try to get them on the phone. there is a phone # access that i have been able to get to at least once. so it is there, I am just not sure when it appears. Usually when I am having issue w/ an ad they give me an option to call.

How did you manage that? Mine was recently disabled, and their response to my appeal was that once an account is disabled, it cannot be reactivated, and that I should consider that decision final.

They don't care about your identity. They only ask your credit card number and your zip code. Maybe they could check the owner's name but they don't, I have several fb ads accounts all of them created with my credit cards and different names without any problem.

Just let it go, create another one, do not advertise with direct affiliate link, use facebook notes or facebook fan page, hope it will help

I don't think you have anything to lose if you appeal.

Clearing out the cookies and using another user account should be sufficient in lieu of getting a new computer.

However if you keep on promoting the same affiliate programs with the same affiliate ID, there is a chance that they will catch you sooner or later.

I got to admit, this concerns me BIG TIME!

It seems that eventually, at some point, your account will be hit and that sucks.
They periodically change their TOS and unless you're reading them every day, going through your old ads (more on thin in a min) and keeping tabs to make sure ALL your adds are complaint then you could stand to lose your account.

I recently got a notice that a whole string of old ads I had turned off were non-compliant.
    uh... WHAT?

Those ads hadn't even been active for nearly a year. Honestly, possibly over a year, I don't exactly remember at this moment. I damn near had a heart attack when I saw the message pop up.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

You need create an new account, create new FB fanpage, and set up campaign again.
If you want dont meet this problem again, you must not use personal account for FB ads. Your account can be block again if you violent some term of FB privacy.

OK guys i see alot of problems here, the same like mines. But what is the solution? i tried evreything, change bank account, ID, ad accounts, buissnes page, IP, the device, and the location. Allways i get flaged and my buissnes is ruined becose of this. I was a big spender in facebook ads.

Dose anyone got a method that is working?? I evan talk to someone from facebook, they get my flag, i was able to run my campain in that day, and the next day they close my account again. They sed that it was an error from them and they gave me a link to run my campain. And they close it again.

      Whats the solution ?

      Sorry for my bad english.
