Yes this is a nice idea. Commenting can give good results. But posting links can be the cause of ban of account. You should write interesting things there. You have to write something funny, So peoples will visit you.

Almost everyone that visit Youtube is looking for content that are popular in the region or the country. In my opinion, if you have a goal to monetize, create content that are popular in your target country. Keywords will be very helpful. Another thing to do is like the comments of the members above are SEO and promoting related on target viewer. I have tried and OK. I hope it'll helps.

You should use the common tag, name & description, by which one can reach to your channel easily. Beside these you need to make unique videos. If one can get interest on your videos, he will come to your channel again & again. You can do some SEO to increase your youtube channel. Thanks.

Market your Youtube channel like you would a product. This requires all the standard tools and strategies that you have heard of 100's of times before (PPC, SEO, email marketing, viral marketing, blogging, even paid advertising, etc)

Target keywords that people are searching for. My favorite strategy is to make "how to" style videos. People go on YouTube to be entertained or to find the answer to something. Make videos that help people fix or correct common problems in your niche.

1. Put out useful content to a specific audience - so that YT will put your video in the Suggested video sidebar
2. Use titles that people will search for so that they can find you.

Also, keep in mind that YouTube ranks videos based on how long visitors continue to watch the video. Then they average out the data. The longer people stay on without leaving, the better the chances you'll rank high.

Obviously, you'll want to create the highest quality content in order to keep people interested.

If you want more views on your YouTube videos, There are some ways to do this,

1. Sign in to blogger.com and create a post on your video, describe in post that what you are saying in video. Then embed your YouTube video in the end of post. Share your post link in YouTube description.
2. Share it on social media by giving eye catching status, for example: "Must watch what's going in this video".
3. Visit forum and search for your video related topic. Give answer by giving your YouTube video link.

Do you tag your videos properly? That is a great way for your video to appear in the search results if someone uses one of your tags, this is the easiest way I can think of and would not require you any investment other than time.

If you have posted a video on youtube, you have to make sure that the title of your video is relevant to its content, for example, if you are posting a video of a kitten drinking milk and suddenly sneezing, you shouldn't just put cat video on the title but instead post it something like "cute kitten accidentally snorting milk". Along those lines.

For me what works is that similar to blog commenting, I click on other videos comment and like them and including the link of my videos. Just make sure that the content is similar to yours so your comment won't be considered as spam by the owner of the video you commented on.

Sharing your video in a group or facebook page that has the same format as yours is a great idea. You need to determine other avenues where you could allow people to discover your video is a good opportunity. Just be mindful of the rules on each page or group you join in so you won't get banned easily.

At first you have to do SEO for your videos or channel.
You can use interesting titles.
Add beautiful description.
Use important tags. you can use tags by keyword research.
Post videos on your social media timeline.
Deal with other YouTubers for share channel.
Tell viewers to share your video.
