Weird topic to market on facebook - ideas please?

Hi,

My dad wants to market on Facebook, a product he's designed and patented for protecting projectors outdoors in peoples backyards. Can anyone tell me the best category to target for FB ads please?

I was thinking the buy ads with expiration?

Target buyers are married, male or female, aged 30+ with kids. What else would make this a laser targeted ad? Any ideas as I don't want to let my dad down.

    Although i have no experience comparable to yours, but i guess Products would be the only category to target such product.
    You can target people interested in media, outdoor shows and similar to make it more targeted.

    Target Projector Brand Names and Like Pages of Projectors/Film Lovers etc. Hope that helps a little. Good Luck!

    Yes, you could target film lovers. Maybe also people who like barbeques, also event-hire companies - people who do tents, marquees. Some wedding events might use outdoor projectors too.
