Instagram for Business

Has anyone had any results from using Instagram for Business which was introduced last month? I was pretty keen to upgrade as I thought it would give me the same insights as Facebook does, but it seems to be a bit basic. It doesn't really help me with making any improvements as to the time of day I'm posting etc.
I only really use Instagram, as an app to back p my Facebook posts rather than trying to make sales directly so I guess it's a bit restricted int hat way.
Just thought I'd ask if I've missed something outstanding and you guys know something that I don't!

    I've also been thinking of using Instagram for Business. I've been doing my research on it. But i think the gist of what their trying to do is you can use the power of visual language to promote your products or business, pretty much the same with the normal Instagram that other people use daily.
    I'm also going to wait if someone has more insight about it.

    Its a cool feature. They post to Facebook for you, and create a business profile for you that adds your contact info.

      Hi toysoldier,

      I didn't know that it was an option to post to Facebook to you too - that is a handy little tool, I shall have to investigate further.

      I know they have that function on personal Instagram pages but I didn't realise it was an option for business pages too.

    Yes the contact button and insight are nice. The insights are pretty basic, but better than nothing which is what they had until the upgrade.

    Instagram is good resource for business but not for every type of business. Because on Instagram people used to see photos & videos instead of information. If you want to run a campaign or want some likes, the you can use that. Such as photography related business can help to increase engagement.

    It's an excellent source if your business requires continuous visual and video based advertisements. There is a lot of audience who use Instagram to look out for that kind of stuff.
