FB ad stats issues

Why is there such a huge disparity between the visitors on my blog and the clicks on my Facebook Ad. My FB ad shows 200 link clicks but my site shows just 27 visitors. Can anyone help me Please

    Hello,

    You are probably not getting something right. Let me help explain some of the Facebook Ad terms :

    Impressions : are the number of times a post from your Page is displayed. People may see multiple impressions of the same post. For example, if someone sees a Page update in News Feed and then sees that same update when a friend shares it that would count as 2 impressions.

    Reach : is the number of people who received impressions of a Page post. Reach might be less than impressions since one person can see multiple impressions. For example, if a person sees a Page update in News Feed and then sees that same update when a friend shares it that would represent a reach count of one.

    Link Clicks: The number of clicks on links to select destinations or experiences, on or off Facebook-owned properties. (ex: someone clicks Shop Now on your ad and goes to your website).

    Clicks (All): Link Clicks as well as clicks on other parts of your ad (ex: someone clicks on your Page's name).

    So, try and understand various concepts. Hope this helps.

      Thanks for your response

      So if the FB ads stats say 200 link clicks shouldn't that translate to 200 visitors in my WordPress blog stats or atleast close to that amount

        Well, I forgot to mention that it also depends on the wordpres statistics plugin you are using.

        Some of them aren't accurate but I would recomend google analytics and jetpack.

        If one of the two is what you are already using, then I'm afraid that's your real stats.

    some of our facebook stats are way, way off this week. One add was showing over 800 post engagements in business manager but less then 20 through insights.
