Instagram Marketing by day Q'ns

Is it important to follow users that are in your targeted niche or is it more important with the quantity? How many users should you try to follow in a day?

How many likes should you give in a day? Whos photos should you like (top influencers) or photos that are just related to your instagram account? What matters and what will get you noticed?

How often should you comment a day? How do you choose what photos to comment on? Should it be from people you are following or comment on people following you? Should you just comment on pics related to your niche?

What is the best way to find influencers in your niche? Is there any tool that can help you with this or certain criteria that you should look for in IG users in your niche?

With Instagram marketing, the object is not so much to follow people or to give them Likes as it is to get more people to like and follow you.

    1. First you must define what your brand image is. What is your ideal target audience, in other words, what is your ideal customer? Think about what kinds of posts they would like.

    2. Find at least 5 other accounts that you would like your account to resemble. Study what they post and see what hashtags they post. You want to pick about 10 hashtags that fit your brand and you want to dominate these. Make sure, however, that there are at least 50,000 instances of these hashtags but not millions of them, because you don't want there to be so much content that nobody sees your posts!

    3. Some examples of what to post: Post positive things. Everyone loves quotes. Posts with people in them do best. Lighter colors do better than darker images. Post about things that are trending, for example, holidays, sports events, lunar eclipse, etc. Run contests. Post quotes with images (use Canva.com for this - see below)? Post funny images. Post photos of your customers, of what's happening behind the scenes at your business, of new products, and people using your products.

    4. Unfollow people who don't follow you. Free apps like Repost make this easier to do but there are other apps.

    5. Find the accounts of people you would like to attract. Like about 4 or 5 of their photos in a row, for, example. Also, comment on their posts. These interactions will draw attention to your account. If people comment on your photos, thank them!

    6. Post consistently. Use from 10 to 30 hashtags BUT only put a few in the main post. Add a comment to your post and put the rest of the hashtags in that comment instead.

    7. Try to set aside at least 30 minutes a day for posting and commenting, etc.

    8. Use your friends to boost your posts. Have them Like or, better, comment on your posts. Your posts get the most views within a few hours of posting, so try to organize your efforts.

    9. Other useful tools:
Websta.me provides free analytics. There are many, many other free and paid services though.
Pixabay.com is a great place for excellent free copyright-free photos.
Canva.com is terrific site for making easy quote posts and other graphics.
