Facebook ads are totally useless

Are you using Facebook ads to advertise your page, boost posts, website clicks, etc? I noticed that advertising to increase likes for your page gave me the same results, fake asian profiles. The best results, I've had were boosting a picture post. I gained 300+ followers in 3 weeks, I checked every single profile and they all seem to be legit profiles that align with with my demos.

Yes, I am. I boosted a picture and it worked pretty good. I suspected some of the likes on the post were fakes - because of the names, but I figured I actually reached a lot of asians that were actually living in my country (I think I know why)

Because, if they liked the post but not my page, that would mean theyre legit right? There arent any clickfarms for liking posts only?

Marketers get new leads through the FB ads and make money from it. The FB ads are still useful...!!

You need to test test test... until you find good conversion rate.

I agree lots and lots of testing! Facebook ads really are great for generating leads. If you can use them to build your email list you won't have to rely on them as much in the future.

Not completely useless but up to 80% of FB traffic is fake...so you need to hyper target your ads...even with that when we compared our Google analytics numbers from FB....it was only 50% of what FB reporting shows. That's means that if you bid $1.00 per click your real cost is $2.00 per click. In order to get your $1.00 per click target you need to then bid $.50 per click.

Multiple companies have sued FB for this very issue.

Never use post engagement, and use link clicks, then you can send them to your landing page or any other page you want, that is the trick.

Create ads on ads manager only, and choose link clicks only.

Post engagement is for getting fake likes and fake engagement, from FB yup now you know.

Never use boost post, Boost turns your post into post engagement,

If you use boost post, you will see in your ads manager, that your boost post is a post engagement ad,
Boost posting, is not link clicks, so to be clear, boost is for post engagement, that is not what you want, Now you know why boost post never works for anyone.
Now you know FB little Secret to Boost Post, Fake likes and engagement,

thanks for the info. i used FB ads and did some boosts with very little success. it was for a legit candle warehouse sale at a physical location and i targeted within 15 miles or so, women 25-55 and got little response for my money. i'll designate link click activity to separate the BS "engagement" stuff.

how do you get your own organic FB page followers to see your posts? Don't you have to boost every post? I read where FB goal is to get free engagement on your own page down to about 5% of followers so you pay for exposure, is that about right?

Ok to answer your question , on how to get followers ,real likes and engagement, just create ads in the Ads Manager only, and choose links clicks., and send to your landing page or offer product.

Facebook advertisement increase your page visibility in front of other user. Usually when we create an account in Facebook, it does not have much visibility and most of the users do not even know that your FB exists and to spread the awareness of you website/Fb page and its contents, we engage with the other users. I actually agree with you though, FB clicks are too expensive to really profit to a website. You pretty much have to just use it to grow a FB Page then hope that takes off. Im not saying FB ads don't work but you will waste some money before you get it down.
