Question About New Blog Posts?

Starting a new blog to later make money on affiliates/Adsense...

I am wondering what a good amount of articles/blog posts to submit a month are. Quality posts, about 800-1000 word articles, good on page SEO.

Would 4 or 8 a month be enough, or a good amount?

    For the first few months I would start with 10-15 then after a while you could taper down to 7-10 a month

      Hey Chris, thanks for the reply.

      I want to outsource the articles, there are places that want to do $120 for 4 articles a month with the linking and keyword research. Do you think that's too little of articles to start out with? I had a feeling maybe it would be, I was shooting for 2 a week if not 3.

      Going half and half with a business partner, just trying to tackle what would be the best route to go to get everything right.

    800-1000 words article are not that effective now. I try to hit 2000 words explaining in deep about the topic since I do not want to just rank for a x keywords I would be glad if can come up on search engines for that complete topic.
    And number of articles does not matters at all. I have a website with just 6 posts that too was posted 6 months ago and now I am receiving more than 8k visits a day to them.

    I am having blog related to Health and Fitness in Hindi language, In starting i was regular in posting within 3-4 days but now after posting around more than 50 posts i usually post within one week as the visitors count has gradually decreased from last month. Don't know what to do. I would like to share my blog here so that i can get the actual reason behind the downfall of visitors. Earlier the blog was getting more than 100 visits in a single day especially from Germany. But what happened now is beyond my imagination.
