Facebook Group vs Facebook Page

Fb is mostly effective for brand awareness so I will say a fb page is more effective.

I think the reason your group gave you better result is because the people on there are probably asking questions and are helping each other out. There are interaction going on in there. On a page, nobody is helping each other. You published a meme and you're just waiting for your fans to engage in. That's my 2 cents.

Anyway, my biggest hurdle right now is that every time I share my content in related groups, the interaction usually happens directly in that group only. The engagement rarely happens inside my page within that specific post that I shared. I do have good engagement on some of my post, but I realized that it has to be a really good post related to pet owners. Dogs is a very broad market, and I think that's why there are more engagement. I also run a dog page, but I narrowed it down to a breed; so I think maybe that's why I'm getting lower engagement than If I go with just "dogs" - something really really broad.

How long did it took you to reach the 50K Likes? Have you run any ads?

Facebook pages are always so powerful...so try Facebook pages .That is my advice for you

Groups and Pages have different purposes. Just like what Facebook says,

"While Pages were designed to be the official profiles for entities, such as celebrities, brands or businesses, Facebook Groups are the place for small group communication and for people to share their common interests and express their opinion."

Groups are highly effective if you want to share something within your niche. You'll get a lot of engagements in no time because you're surrounded by like-minded folks. A page is something more "official" and entirely your own. You have to work to get those people to do something with your page. Do you share posts from your page to other dog lover groups instead of posting separately or boost your posts? 50k is a big number. Then again, dogs are a surefire way of attracting people. I mean, who doesn't love dogs?

Both Facebook Pages and Facebook Groups are different..They have their own ability..A Facebook Page is Designed to act more like a personal profile for businesses, public figures, and organizations, a Facebook page is basically a place to create an authentic representation of what you're about.A Facebook Group.Pages act as profiles for entities, while groups act more like places for like-minded communication.

If you want to engage and interact with your audience then a Facebook group is ideal for that. However, if your goal is to earn money from Facebook, then you can do that through a page.

The big difference is interactivity.

Both have their own value.
A fb group allows to share info to all the members of that group and if someone likes service or need then contact.
A fb page is following by the users who follow your page and behavior that you are doing.

yes Certainly Facebook Group is more stronger and reliable then Facebook Page as The group provides you a platform where you can get the opportunity to share you posts and large number of people can interact with your posts and later on go to your facebook page.
