How much do Instagram Influencers charge?

As annoying as it might be, some people really do get paid to wear great clothes, drive fast cars, and go on vacation. Now is the age of the professional influencer, and Instagram is making some of them a packet. A new study by HopperHQ sheds light on just how much brands are willing to pay top influencers for Instagram posts.

But they don't really get a million dollars a post, right?

Wrong!

Some of the most well-known, filthy rich celebrities do. That million bucks can be easy to earn too - as simple in many cases as a photo session holding a product and looking cute.

Are Huge Influencer Pay Rates Justifiable?

Brands do their research. In order to get the big bucks, celebrities have to carry enough clout to make the deal worth it. As crazy as it might seem, some influencers have the ability to yield massive ROI. Hopper based their findings on the account engagement of influencers in a range of categories and information gained from the individuals themselves.

Micro-influencers - with smaller followings, and therefore presenting lower costs - have become popular recently. However, the wide appeal of some of the mega-celebrities allows brands to connect with audiences on a larger scale, and they'll always enjoy high rates of pay for that reason.

Interesting. At day's end, it is just money; neutral means of exchange. Removing charge and big or small labels allows more into our lives. PS I despise Instagram LOL....not enough meaning and meat over there. But kudos to Kylie, rock and crew for prospering.

  • I think it also depends on your market and your production. Look into your business management system. At what point in your production are you having diminishing returns? If being promoted by a mega influencer will make you even more profitable, then it makes sense. But if you make more money per sale by selling less, then micro influencers or other marketing techniques might be better.

Nowadays I would rather focus on micro-influencers or just people in a specific region with some amount of followers. It would be cheaper, as you can offer your product or it would be easier to pay less with bigger conversion rate. Forget those big *******s, focus on real human interaction.

You can also target regions with a highly competitive influencer marketing scene.

Since there is more competition & influencers in a certain area, often times their prices will be lower because of that.

For example, if your brand is all online, you can get away with using that strategy.
An influencer in LA with 150K followers could charge $200 for a post but someone in Canada with the same amount of followers, might charge over $1000+.

I work with micro-influencers and I would always prefer them. You will just have to weed out the fakes or low-quality ones are there are many in this bracket. Effectivity wise, they get the job done and has a more targetted audience.

It's just a business. Influencers have a large audience that provides a good ROI. If you know your product and target audience, you will achieve your goals quickly. You will be able to find 2-3 influencers in your niche, even micro-influencers will be a great help.

As Naman1234 rightly said, you can just look at Under armour and "project rock" collection. Dwayne Johnson has heavily marketed Under armour.

    Thank for info.
It's expensive I could not afford.
The question is how we can do it without influencers?

i agree that if do not have a huge amount of money , it is better to hire a local influencer because people trust them more than very popular bloggers. Think about it, perhaps it will be cheaper but more valuable
