NEED HELP - Locked out of Facebook. Keeps sending code to old number!

Very frustrating fb bug. They lock my account due to suspicious log in, probably because I'm traveling, has happened a bunch of times in the past. I've always used my email to get back in, security code.

Now, after that step, they're sending another code to an ancient, dead mobile!

I somehow managed to get back in 3 weeks ago, and updated my phone and added extra security, 3 trusted friend log in.

Here I am again, locked out, I'm getting codes to my new number, then the idiots send another code to my old number! I even had codes sent from 3 friends, and they still text the old number.

After much searching online, seems like a common bug, and they don't reply to their support form, surprise surprise.

Seems the only way to contact them is through their live business account chat.

Can someone please message facebook business and ask them how exactly to get around this?

I have 2 active email addresses and an active phone number linked to my account. I also have 3 trusted friends set up.

Thanks for any help.

Usually, the forum does not approve what they call 'help desk' complaints but this is one problem that might affect other members here.

I know some have had similar situations with Adsense in the past - an old email that you couldn't access and no way to get into your acct.

The only advice that seemed to work with Google Adsense was to reapply for the same name/etc - then google sent a 'you already have an acct - go here to log in' ....and apparently that worked for several people as it provided a place to add new login/email info.

Hopefully, someone here can help you find a solution - and if you do, please post it here to help other members.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I still can't get in! It's ridiculous. I even have the extra security 3 trusted contacts set up... They have an option that says, "don't have access to any of these"

Clicked that, had to ask my 3 friends to go to https://web.facebook.com/recover and send me codes.

That doesn't even work, after I enter the codes, it then sends a code to this old number!! Nuts. I just clicked a link saying I don't have access.

I've tried a few times setting up a new account, so I can access their live business chat. You can only do this after you've an active advertising account with an ad spend.

After a few hours I get this suspicous activity nonsense again, and I have to give them my mobile for a code... where I'm locked out again.
