TikTok Issue

I signed up to TikTok a couple of weeks ago and my first few videos got over 100+ views, now my videos get zero views. I've gone through several YouTube videos and checklists on how to fix this problem, and all the issues outlined I don't believe are my issues.

• I know it's not still under review
• Maybe it's poor quality, but I don't think so
• It's not duplicate content
• I don't think my devices are band as the account is brand-new
• It's not repurposed or copywritten content
• I don't think I'm using restricted keywords
• I do have a URL displayed at the bottom of my video. Maybe they don't like that?

People who follow me can see my videos if they go directly to my profile, but otherwise they won't show.

Would anyone with more experience be able to point me in the right direction on how to fix this issue?

    That's just how TikTok's algorithm works. Continue pumping out new videos.

    Can anybody tell me if putting your URL at the bottom of the video is a bad idea? I don't see anybody else doing this but I also don't see that as being a rule violation...

      Yes you can put a clickable link. A couple of sponsored ads I don't block do this.

    Thank you for that, but I wasn't asking about a clickable link. In my video editing software, writing out the text and highlighting it which floats at the bottom of the video so people can see it. Then of people like the video they can manually type it into their browser.

    I suggest you take your time to learn a little about tiktok ever growing algorithm filled with nuances and it's very saturated so your best bet would be to pump more content and especially content that stands out

    Are your videos about affiliate marketing?
    I know others who are starting to see less reach suddenly.

    A short time ago they banned MLM and apparently people are now doing the same thing, but calling it affiliate marketing. It's only a matter of time before this gets a ban also.

    It's really a platform for fun videos.

    Nate,

    I have a decent amount of videos on TikTok and can tell you from personal experience that people there don't look at your website link and then type it in their browser. So adding a website inside your videos and thinking that they will enter it in their browser, is not the way to go.

    If you can some how get 1000+ people to follow you, you can post a clickable link in your BIO and that would probably get more people visiting your website.
